COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bruegel is an easy drinking soft and tasty amber ale. Thanks to the refermentation it offers more body, more head and more taste than most other American and Belgian Amber ales. It is brewed with Dutch barley and German hops. Although the bitterness is clearly present, it is not dominant.

Appearance: medium brown, short tan head. Aroma: brown sugar, toffee, molasses. Taste: as the aroma indicates, with some faintly metallic hops way in the background. Finish: short, sweet and a little mineral-ly. Notes: Pretty sweet, with lots of brown sugar/caramel flavors. Hops were very subdued.

Pours clear copper with a quickly dissipating moderate off-white head. Aroma of nuts, toast, caramel and a bit of yeast. The flavor is sweet and bready malt, and not that great. Light hop bitterness. Medium bodied, but somehow watery seeming. I’m glad this is just one of a variety pack.

330ml bottle pours a pale orange beer. A light white delicate head that gives off a pleasent aroma of toasted toffee and plenty of malt. The flavor is average of Beligum beers but with an amazing taste left on palate. A very nice Beligum beer that most can enjoy.

Cloudy and bitter, but has a resin to it that helps balance it out. Good beer very easy to sip.

This brew poured up a rich copper-colored body with a thick foamy head with great retention and lacing effects. Served slightly cooler than room temperature, the aromas of apples, malts and yeast (biscuits or bread) were just amazing. This medium-bodied brew produced some incredible flavors of warm caramels, sweet malts, and candy apples followed up with a slightly ‘hoppy’ finish.

Not bad. Some decent floral hops and a good head of foam on the pour. Colour isn’t that great but it’s an alright beer, as long as you’re not comparing it to the good Belgians.

Nice amber/orange color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of malt, yeast, & subtle fruit; Flavor of malt, yeast, some caramel, light fruit, and spice; Finish is slight bitter and tart; Overall, the palate is a little thin - but still a decent brew.
