330ml bottle from Brouwerij Van Steenberge sampler. Pours light amber with offwhite foamy head and nice lingering lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and dried fruit and figs. Flavor not as sweet as aroma hints at. Nice carbonation, slight bitter and dry finish.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 23, 2009 Bottle 33. Clear amber beer with a heavy white head. Taste is very bitter but nice anyway with notes of malt, rosted, caramel and agrumes, a bit of citrus. The hops is nice and quite present and remains at the finish. A very pleasant beer, nice body, very drinckable and not too high in alcool. A unexpected nice experience. patrick767 (2066), fort wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 17, 2009 bottle - Pours light amber-gold with some slight haze and a moderate sized, fizzy head. It has a mild aroma of malt and Belgian yeast. The first thing that struck me as I started drinking this one is that it’s simply too thin. The flavor has a good balance of malt sweetness and bittering hops that finishes a little dry. Not bad, but there are numerous better Belgian ales around. Aroma was full of sweet malts with caramel and grain coming through. Flavor had a strong metallic note that over powered the malt flavors in the aroma. bbbrew (183), Washington DC, USA
