Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours a great golden with an okay, creamy medium-sized head. Aroma is sweet, light wheaty with some yeast peeping through. Kind of a light an thin mouthfeel. Flavour is equally mild with some metallic edges, light wheat. Not too fantastic.

Respectable without being great. Nice gold yellow colour but with very little head. Alcohol seems to pierce through the taste.

Solid table blond/abbey in the Leffe mould. Clean cut, shining lagery gold. Faint peardrop fruitiness in the nose with an almost guezey whiff of lemon, caramel and nutty malt. Slight sherbet, paper, wheat, coriander seed and more peardrop. Quite delicately spiced and fruity, and better than expected.

330 ml bottle. An inoffensive blonde ale. Golden coloured with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of sweet malt and various spices. Flavour was also sweet with some yeast, coriander and a short finish. Ok.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 highlandlad (1319) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - NOV 13, 2007
A clean and simple spiced Belgian blonde. Ingredients include coriander, cinnamon and Curacao. Quite an intense gold with a substantial wash of suds. Fruity aroma with obvious coriander and Curacao, plus canned peach juice. Bit spritzy and harsh at the front of the mouth but softening in the swallow. Tropical fruit cordial, tin cans, some bready malts and a mild late buzz. Bit grassy. Quite alcoholic and warming in the finish. Fruity and sweet but balanced by the spices. Quite drinkable but the memory won’t linger. (330ml bottle from Liquor on Parade, Kingsford. BB 17/1/08)
