Draught at the brewery. Soft, fruity beer, rather sweet, but with a sour edge. Duvel-like, probably not by coincidence. Nice, but not great.

Bottle. Gold with a small head. Aromas are sweet malts with fruits, especially apricot. Some brown sugar and caramel. Flavours are fruity with tea. Dry and peppery with some sweet malts. Hoppy on the finish. A bit lacking in character.

This makes a great pour into a tulip glass, a clear golden amber body with a thick frothy head. Nice aroam, sweet pale malts with a touch of stoned fruits and a dollop of honey. Medium bodied. The flavor’s a sweet malt with cherries and vanilla and a splash of alcohol and a modest citric tartness. Thing is, it’s a tad thin. I’d rate it much higher if the flavor was fuller.

Aroma is buttery, roaste dhoney. Taste is similar with a bit of roasted maple wood? The tasting notes get a bit special from then on.

Bottle. Clear yellow colour with a reasonable head that quickly disappeared. Aroma was very yeasty with notes of citrus, slight hoppy. Flavour was medium sweet with a caramel aftertaste. Nice and very drinkable Blond.
