jahughey (65), Franklin, Indiana, USA Sep 15, 2005 Updated: Oct 9, 2005 Truly superb brewpub ale. Phenolic Belgian yeast aroma and flavor. Chocolate, raisin, vinous notes. Full mouthfeel, yet typical Belgian drinkability for the ABV. Great ale from a great brewer.
thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 27, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was hazy and light brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of very mild vinous malt malty dirty sock. Its mouth feel is initially tingly smooth crisp with a lingering mellow palate and a aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild thin malt hop notes.
