On tap at the brewpub. A coppery gold pour with just a bit of head. Feel was medium with slight zest. Aroma of complex fruit, caramel. This is a delicious IPA. Fruit, pine, spices, graham cracker malt, tart citrus bitterness comes late. It is mostly a sweet beer, though. All of these flavors compliment and take turns moving to center stage and taking their bow. Beautifully crafted.

IBG Fest sample. Poured dark golden color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly diminished with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus & light spice aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium complex bittersweet flavor with a medium smooth bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Interesting beer.

15th Annual Indiana Microbrewers Summer Fest 2010: Shows a slightly hazy deep golden hue with a faint but lasting white frothy head. The aroma has notes of resiny, herbal, fruity, and slightly spicy hop vapours along with some pale and crystal malt. There is a slight metallic and band-aid esters found about as well. The taste is moderately bitter and slightly alcoholic with some biting acidity as well. The grains provided some back ground noise, a hint of clove and/or peppery hop spice note about the finish. The mouth feel is well carbonated and mostly refreshing outside of the metallic astringent nature of the ending. Overall it met my expectations; you could do worse than this. Borderline between IPA and DIPA...
