(draught at brewpub) pours pitch black with thick lasting head and great lacing. Nose of black licorice, Belgian yeast and bread. Taste of black licorice, Ginger root, and herbal hops. Finih is creamy and medicinal. Disappointing.

On tap at Brugge. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Malty and roasty nose with banana, clove and licorice. Roasty malt flavor giving way to banana before a boozy finish.
