Bomber. Straightforward, plain vanilla tripel with an off-taste in the finish. Hazy, deep gold body. Big white head, mostly lasting. Sweet aroma with notes of pears, bread and spice. Hint of lemon. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. The overly sweet flavor and spice seem disjointed, resulting in an aftertaste that is not satisfying, but also is not a deal-breaker. Medium body, watery to smooth texture and moderate carbonation.

Tap at Barcade. Pours a medium golden slight haze with a thin ok lasting white head and slight lace. Aroma is initially packed with nice earthy and phenolicy yeasty spices - cardamon, ginger, etc, but then goes into a garbage funk with lots of DMS and cooked vegetables- corn and carrots. Flavor is a slight slick somewhat sweet pale malts with light caramel, toasted bread, and a hint of lemon zest along with a bit more DMS but not as powerful as the aroma. Finish is a bit prickly and harsh. Meh.

This draft brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were and left behind a hazy softly carbonated orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish with a medium caramel aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of malt and fruity. An OK brew just nothing special.

given to me by sprinkle with this quote(or something similar)" i can’t do it man, i can’t drink another damn drop, this is yours if you want it". so yeah i wanted it. if you know me a bit you know i have a stopping problem. you should see my notes, damn it is funny. well, here is what i thought of this beer. nice dark shimmering pour with a white head. wet penny and wheat aroma. wet wheat flavor too with some corny grain flavor. brown sugar cedar finish. alcohol does a pirouet here(someone tell me what this means? does it dace gracefully or do a comple turn and go the other way?)too much so. peach aroma with cinnamon and brown sugar cookie

on tap-pours a white head and cloudy gold color. Aroma is medium fruit-apple, rock candy, medium malt. Taste is clove/medium fruit-apple, rock candy, medium malt, spices. Alcohol with a formaldehyde finish being the only detractor.

Tap at Barcade - fizzy, hazy gold - lots of things about this beer tasted off - there was a spicy kick and phenolic character that seemed intentional, but aside from that, it was overly sweet, and had this odd, almost chlorine-like flavor to it - slight tartness and acidic apple qualities - pretty darn bad.

On tap at the brewpub into a tulip. The biggest review beer with a good review, I gave this one a try first. Let down...Pours an ugly dark gold, muddied. A light off white head that only rises a weak finger, but sticks for awhile...A dead and boring aroma, light floral yeast and banana...The taste is strong belgian yeast, way way to much. Light floral notes, alcohol really comes through on the finish. This was the least impressive of the beers we drank. I would not recommend this beer.
