(Draught) Pours a cloudy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of mustiness, florals, citrus, apple, and herbal notes. Flavor of hops (herbal, grass, citrus) and Belgian yeast with a dry, moderately bitter finish.

Draft sample at IBGF 2009. Poured a hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet citrus, yeast and sweet malt aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium tingly sweet flavor with a medium sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

IBGF 2009, my last call brew: Slightly hazy dark golden almost amber hue with a nice frothy head and some spotty lace. The aroma has notes of biscuity and a touch of Special B malts, grassy and herbal hops with a hint of PNW resiny hops too. Fruity esters of plum, apricot and apples. The taste is a tad muddled with Belgian house yeast character at war with the more pungent Americanized hop influence. Unlike those excellent hopped up Belgian Strong Ales, this one seems to be lacking any direction and steps all over itself on the palate. Perhaps because the malt character never seemed to balance it out. The mouth feel is nice and rounded, sharp around the edges with a smooth sticky middle. Overall this beer fails to meet my expections.
