COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brugge Tripel is the unsurpassed city beer of the people of Bruges. This beer has a well-rounded malt character, an aromatic hop character and a great complexity of flavours. The taste truly evoques the very best of Bruges!

330ml bottle at Estaminet. Near-clear, golden body, white lacing-head. Floral to the nose with fruits and wheat. Taste of ripe fruits, rather sweet. Some alcohol and yeast. Above par (Brugge, 02.05.2011).

Hefige Geruchsaromen im Verein mit ordentlicher Alkoholfahne. Geschmacklich dominiert eindeutig die intensive Fruchtigkeit, die sämtliche Beiklänge ausblendet. Sehr blumiges und fruchtiges Tripel, kein Zweifel. Man wird allerdings auch geschmacksmäßig erschlagen. Nicht schön.Test vom 17.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Beautiful to lock at with a orange glow and huge lasting head. Sweet and very high alcohol kicker. Sweetness remains but very nice.

On tap and at half hour at our hotel so I couldn’t turn down this 23oz pour with 1.5 euros...Pours a dark but very clear gold. A thick white head has very good retention, ok lacing...A light aroma of floral hops, and corn, very sweet for a tripel...The taste is really light buts its incredibly easy to drink at almost 9%. Corn, light flowers, bitter finish. This is not a very good beer, but its basically a high alcohol marco that’s super easy to drink and not skunk water to drink. If I lived in Belgium and just wanted to get hammered cheaply and quick, this is a good bet.

11.2 oz. bottle, pours hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of champagne yeast, light dry apple, pear and bready. Flavour is a mix of pear, apple and candied sugar, with a heap load of yeast and immense dryness. Quite good.

Bottle from Bier Central, Antwerp. Sweet flowery malt aroma. Rich golden colour, not much head. Strong sweet flavour. Very smooth.

bottle@home: there is nothing tripel about this, tastes generic, unimpressive malts, minor sweetness, hint of spices, minor bitterness only in the aftertaste, bland overall, mass production crappy attempt at a tripel

Golden coloured beer with an ok head. Smell is malts, spices, yeast. Taste is malty, light citrus, yeast, good spiced, mostly sweet with the hops getting trough at the end slightly. Not bad but not one to go buying specially.
