Just OK for a tripel, there’s a whiff of subpar hops on the aroma, and a ton of thin-ish alcohol burn (not quite enough delicious esters)

33 cl bottle @ home. Clear golden color, strong white head, hazy liquid. Flavor is slightly sour, light sweet fruity and medium bitter, fizzy carbon, short bitter aftertaste. Watery average beer but devoid of alcohol taste, otherwise it’s not very interesting.

Pale yellow, big big head, persistent, too. Citric and yeasty, earthy. Light bitterness. Alcohol surprisingly almost undetectable. Another basic Belgian, a solid and strong one, too.

Pours dark yellow to amber slightly cloudy but clear body with weak soft head. Aromas is oranges, apricots, plums, malty and grass. Palate is thin weak but slick and carbonation full mouthed. Taste is malty and fruity, with isolated bitter dry kick in the deep throat. ABV is well aside for 8,7 ABV hardly noticeable. Finish is little tart, spicy and malty. Overall average Tripel with no real Eureka! moments. Mostly average.

Une jolie mousse et une jolie couleur dorée, cependant en début de bouche on trouve un trop fort goût d’alcool ce qui altère de son intérêt !

Drank at the Buitenlust. Bottle. Clear golden color, nice head. Smell and taste malts, lightly yeasty, some bitter, a touch of lemon and lightly alcohol. Full body, medium carbonation. Nice tripel.

33cl bottle from Carrefour (Belgium). Yellow colour with a white and persistent head. Nice aroma of hops. Medium to low carbonation. Starts bitter and turn to a metallic, astringent finish. If it was for this it would get a better rating.

Bottle 33cl a clear golden beer with good head. Nose is very hopy with a tyipical belgian nose on lemon and yeast. Aroma is malty, sweet, agrumes notes, peppery and hay hops, bit classic but properly done. Bit alcoholic like.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Golden with a white head. Fruity yeasty nose, Bittersweet taste. A bit drier than most tripels but other than that quite standard. Decent but standard.
