theisti (1092), Leawood, Kansas, USA May 9, 2008 330 ml bottle purchased at the Vín Búđ - Kringlan, Reykjavik, Iceland. Pour is light orange, ruby, brown - clear. 2 inch off white foamy head. Aroma is dirty chemical, some nut-caramel sweetness. Taste is better than the nose, somewhat sweet, smooth drinkable palate. fiulijn (5880), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Mar 5, 2008 Bottle at Rover, Göteborg; great generosity of Pelle Dark amber color; creamy head. Light aroma of cereals, carmel and very light Saaz. Medium body strength, with a strong caramel flavor and some dark chocolate; it has a good bitterness level, but the caramelized malts cover the hop. The end is dry, as it seems to be quite common for this brewery. Not bad. Ungstrup (11385), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 20, 2008 Bottled. an amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, though added a light note of metal, leading to a dry bitter and slightly metallic finish. Thanks to Emil for bringing this home from Iceland.
