3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (12179) - Malmö, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2008
Bottle at Rover, Göteborg; great generosity of Pelle Dark amber color; creamy head. Light aroma of cereals, carmel and very light Saaz. Medium body strength, with a strong caramel flavor and some dark chocolate; it has a good bitterness level, but the caramelized malts cover the hop. The end is dry, as it seems to be quite common for this brewery. Not bad.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Foxbush (990) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - APR 2, 2013
UPDATED: APR 8, 2013 draft at 73 Restaurant and Cafe This was called Kaldi dark by Johanna the bartender. The beer poured a deep dark amber but not opaque with a nice beige head. This is a very balanced beer with a sweet aroma of caramel malts and so is the flavor. The beer also had an acidic side almost like cider mash. The carbonation was average for the medium body beer. The finish was sweet but smooth. No bitterness in the aftertaste.

Clear brown color, short head. Aroma of some faint hop, bit fruity, malty, ’runderbouillon’ as Bullit described it :). Quite boring.
