Draught at Kaldi Bar Reykjavik. This is dark bready brew that has some decent flavors but it is lacking in real malt depth.

Amber, brown colored brew. Bit fruity and malty. Sweet flavor and a bit bitterness in the end. Not too bad, not too interesting.

Heavy carbonation. Large pssht when I crack open the cap, and the beer booms into a big foam when it hits the glass. Head is slow to die and easily revived with a light swirl. There’s not a lot of flavor going on, but in the back there is a bit of toasted almost-hazlenut. This really isn’t a bad beer.

Poured this beer from a bottle into a pint glass to drink. It had a dark, clear amber-brown color with a good-sized creamy tan head that had good retention and slight cling. The beer had a malty aroma with scents of caramel and coffee, and a bit of grainy hops. The taste was fairly sweet with a good coffee taste with touches of chocolate and caramel and a very slight bitterness. It had a fairly creamy, smooth body with light carbonation and a low amount of carbonation.

330ml bottle from Vinbudin, Reykjavik. Big foamy lasting beige head. Clear brown body. Roasted, with whiff of prunes, anice and vanilla rods. A bit sweet in taste though, looks a bit better than it tastes. Shared at Rating Session in Tĺrnrommet 22.06.11

Bottled. an amber beer with a lazing thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, though added a light note of metal, leading to a dry bitter and slightly metallic finish. Thanks to Emil for bringing this home from Iceland.

Bottle at Rover, Göteborg; great generosity of Pelle
Dark amber color; creamy head. Light aroma of cereals, carmel and very light Saaz. Medium body strength, with a strong caramel flavor and some dark chocolate; it has a good bitterness level, but the caramelized malts cover the hop. The end is dry, as it seems to be quite common for this brewery. Not bad.

330 ml bottle purchased at the Vín Búđ - Kringlan, Reykjavik, Iceland. Pour is light orange, ruby, brown - clear. 2 inch off white foamy head. Aroma is dirty chemical, some nut-caramel sweetness. Taste is better than the nose, somewhat sweet, smooth drinkable palate.
