Golden clear with nice white head, that last medium time. Sweet hay in the aroma. Malt, medium sweet with a distinguished crisp bitterness in the aftertaste. High in carbon.

Draft in the Hotel Holt lounge Reykjavik, with its crazy charcoal portraits and red leather chairs. Hazy golden with a creamy lasting head. Clean grains with a kiss of noble hops. Not bad.

RoyceH (1196) - Hesperange, LUXEMBOURG - FEB 2, 2014
Bottle from 1919 lounge, Reykjavík. Clear blonde, thin white bubbly head. Lots of carb. Nose is slightly Czech pils, slightly kolsch. Mouth is sweet at first, then bittering then malty, with an ever so slight aftertaste of diacetyl. Ok-ish. ---via BeerBuddy

Bottle. Estery lager with melon and citrus notes, some metal flakes, white grape juice and sweet pastry bread. Light body, frothy and soft carbonation, malt extract syrupiness, cabbage and DMS are present but milder than in their other beers. So, in short, it’s unclean and metallic and lacks hop expression and suffers from a very weak and watery body.

Thin head and a bit of a sweet aroma put me off a bit, but the beer tastes very good overall

Tap @ Micro Bar. A bit hazy, dark golden appearance with a lovely, big white head. Clean, husky/grainy, somewhat herbal/woody aroma. Lightly mineral, sweet husky pils malty, light citrusy flavor. Clean and easy drinking.
