Barely a head, yet barely an aroma. Not quite thin on the palate but hardly a big presence. Mild caramel, perhaps a hint of nougat with a bit of bitterness for a finish. Not bad, quaffable but hardly noteworthy.

330 ml bottle. Brought from Reykjavik to Tromsø for Rating Session in Tårnrommet 22.06.11. Sweet malt aroma, with hints of flowers and tangerines. Dark amber body. Taste of tangerines, malt, plums. prunes and grapes, note of coffee in the finish.

Copper body, white head. Aroma of berries and caramel is overwhelming. Flavour is basicly the same, some metal too. Very smooth and soft mouthfeel. Only nice thing in this.

330 ml bottle. From Reykjavík, Iceland. Big thanks to Jere!
Almost clear amber colour with tiny off-white head. Aroma is slightly off. Some malt and mild bitterness. Flavour is dryish woody and nutty malty with floral bitterness. Reminds me of dark English Ales. Not very good though.

Flaske 0,33l - påspandert - og delt på Tårnrommet 22 Jun 11. Gyldenbrun. Pent kremaktig skum.

From bottle at SlovakSniper & Rodenbach99 Iceland super tasting, merci beaucoup Yan, Yan et Pat! Nice clear dark copper pour with a nice layer of foam. Bock aroma, a bit of roasted grain. light hops, malty. No hop in the taste, very malty almost biscuity. Decent body, a little low on carbonation though. Pretty good.

(Sample at rodenbach99 Iceland beer festival) Amber color with a ring of fire. Nose has good amount of brown sugar with hints of fruits and faint hops. Caramel and toasted malts on the tongue. Slightly bitter vegetables notes to. Less interesting than the nose, that’s for sure. Body is medium-light with a moderate carbonation. Texture is a bit oily. Average finale with mild bitter notes. Many thanks to Yan for bringing back this bottle from Iceland.
