andrewturba (1085) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 19, 2014
Pours a crystal clear copper-light brown with a thin white ring of head. Aroma is rich malt(I think Vienna), caramel, mild floral and fruity esters, and toast. Flavour is malty, mild sweet caramel, mild bitterness, floral, toast and some melanoidins.

Bottle. Clear Amber with a short head, quickly dissipating into nothing. Aroma impression is cinnamon candy, light copper pennies, twangy amber malt extract syrup. Woefully under-carbonated, syrupy and flabby in the mouth. Medium sweetness, low bitterness, candy apple finish. Pretty unpleasant.

Reimer96 (1342) - Alberta, CANADA - NOV 10, 2014
Pours a clear amber with a big white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma of sweet pale malts, toast, caramel and a light melanoidin character. Taste is sweet pale malts, caramel, flowery esthers and a bitter finish... Not really characteristic of a oktoberfest style... Needs more melanoidin character along with that rich toast and biscuit character. Feel this score is fairly generous.

Golden, clear with yellowish foam. Malt, bisquette, in the aroma. Malt sweet toffee hay, with sweet bitterness.

A seasonal brew from Kaldi. Just another Kaldi, nothing different apart from the label and the name. Been there done that.

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Martinus who brought it back from his adventures in Iceland.

Martinus (3062) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - DEC 4, 2012
Clear amber brown colour, light white head. Quite aged aroma, malts, caramel, sherry, raisins, attic, lager yeast and light mineral note. Sweet malty flavour, raisins and caramel. Quite light body. Finish raisins, old herbs and aged beer.
Strange beer. The front label mentions 2006, which I assumed ment the year it was first brewed, or the year the brewery started or something like this. Shine label, fresh in the store, it doesn’t really look old. However, it does taste old. Best before is Dec 2012.
(33cL bottle shared @ pre-Zwanze 2012 tasting)
