Hildigöltur (5051), København Ø, Denmark Jun 2, 2004 Amber coloured. Fruity and slightly flowery. A very light and refreshing brew. Easily drinkable. rauchbier (2858), Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, England Apr 18, 2004 Bottle conditioned, ZBF 2004. Amber, thin white head and low condition. Low fruity malt aromas with a little background hoppiness. Smooth in the mouth with good fruity malt and a hint of spice. Lingeringly malty in the finish.
Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 21, 2004 [ZBF 2004] A dark orange beer with fine though collapsing off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of yeast. The flavor sweet malty too with alcohol running over the tongue and notes of yeast and flowers. JorisPPattyn (4246), Antwerpen, Belgium Oct 12, 2003 Amber colour, cold haze; white head, reduced to rim in seconds, good lace. Refreshing, tart nose, like with rosehips or sloeberry (NOT used!). Surprisingly light sweet-sour taste, undefinable fruity-flowery flavour. Slight diacetyl. Mouthfeel is light, and, well, fruity. Surprising - I had been expecting something with a lot more punch - exactly the opposite. Flowers for a 20-year old damsel (but not in distress).
