I had a chance to sample this beer when I was in Brugge, and it did not disappoint.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Papsoe (21782) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 16, 2005
(Bottle 25 cl) My version originally from "De Gouden Boom" in Bruges. Pale golden, cloudy with floating impurities and a fat, sticky head. Fruity, fresh esters - I bet there’s quite some wheat in here. Extremely refreshing and well-made. A great summer-beer. 121197

Bottle, own flute glass @ De’ Pub, Brugges Belgium.
Sparkling, bright amber body that was well charged with fine streams of carbonation that erupted up to a firm, 1½", rocky white head of foam that laced wildly down the glass. Woody, piney and malty sweet aroma that was full and edged by a lick of tangy marmalade and some alcohol spice. Similar in the mouth with some dominant sweet, toffee and biscuity malts balanced by husky grains, tangy fruit conserve and a spicy, peppery backdrop. Bitter on the swallow, good length in the malty aftertaste with hints of vanilla and straw. It actually comes off refreshing. Nice firm body, quite light in carbonation, prickly, and creamy in the back. Quite liked this, as far as blonde’s go this is in a separate field altogether. Nice balance, tasty and quenching. A solid Belgian ale. (33cL, no date stamp, labelled Brugse Blond)
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bitter (1137) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - AUG 17, 2004
on draft in brug, belgium: if you ever get a chance visit this town in belgium, it is one of the most picturesque places in europe and they gots lots of belgium biers. further, dont get this mixed up with bruge blanche which is a weak wit bier. this one has a fruit sweet nose and palate with some tart bitterness in the end. average and drinkeable.

A nice sweet blond. Good for drinking the whole evening. But not really special.

Very faintly hazy mid-gold colour with awsome chunky creamy long lasting head. Aromas include’ hot damp cotton cloth, faint fruity hops and even fainter yeast. Medium bodied and reasonably well balanced bitter sweet palate with malty sweet middle and crisp dry finish. I’m not normally into blondes this one is probably my favorite from Gouden Boom.
