25cl bottle of Brugs Witbier at the Tintin Bar in Hastings. Expected cloudy straw colour with a ring of white head; floral and citrus aroma; light and spritzy with a flavour of apple sauce and cinamon with underlying grains; the finish is slightly tart and fruity.

Under the alias Brugs Witbier. Poured light golden yellow with little head. Nice light wit citrus flavours.

Beautiful Witbier with a delicious aroma but with a foam that is not quite as good as it should. The taste is somewhat like Hoegaarden light which means it tastes good but is little thin.

btl. 25 cl. almost no head, cloudy. Nose with some rubber, banan and a little apple. Medium bdy and a bit short. Taste of fresh apples - almost sour, lemon. A very fresh Wit, but not much character and a bit watery.

Bottle: Small white head on top of a hazy yellow colored beer. Smell some wheat and graisn with a hint of fruit and something light sour. Taste wheat, herbs, hops, citrus, lemon, fruit, light sweet, lighter sour and a hint of malt. Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light watery texture. Pretty refreshing but nothing spectacular.

Served on tap in it’s dimpled mug. Typical witbier appearance, hazy pale yellow colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus and coriander. Flavour is watery with some citrus coming back. Nothing interesting.

330ml bottle, as Brugs Witbier, 4.8% abv, at the hotel bar, Jan Brito. The body colour is very light yellow. Diminishing white head. Smell of bittersweet lemon. Wheat fruity taste with spices beneath. Feels a bit thin in the mouth. Hasn’t got so much to offer (Brugge, 04.05.2011).

On draft at a cafe by Antwerp CS. Hazy light yellow with white head. Wheat aroma. Soft slight citrus flavor.
