(Bottled, labeled "Brugs witbier") Hazy yellow color with a small, mostly fading head and some lace. Dryish, yeasty aroma with only slight spiciness. Sourish flavor, a bit dish-washing-liquidy. Quite light-bodied, dryish and slightly acidic with foamy carbonation. A bit tasteless and boring witbier, but still drinkable.

Draft in Brugge. Milky golden with a smallish wht head and little lacing. yeasty, sourdough aroma, wheaty with sour grapes as well. Sour weheat, lemon, blue cheese and hay in the flavor. Light body, prickly carbonation.

Draught (au fut) at Le Sous Bock - Paris. The Blanche de Brugge pours a dense hazy straw color with a thick white head. Light-bodied, and served with a lemon, the mellow wheaty flavor has a slightly dry finish and hint of citrus character. A nice touch is the service in a logo’d glass.
