Pale hazy yellow colour with small dense white head. Wheaty sweet aroma with a grapefruit touch. Malty bland flavor with only hints of sweetness.

Unclear, orange/yellow. Medium head. Not much aroma, yeast, citrus. Flavor is special, woody, tart. Not much citrus here. Nice and a little special. Mine stated 4,8% alc.

Light nose - pleasant, cloudy pale yellow color, low tight head. Tangy citrus wheat malt base with a medium body. Leaves a sweet dollop of sugary malt on the lips. Effervescent. Nice and simple.

Bottle @ Lowlander, Covent Garden, London with Duff, Kook, joet, Pivo & Yogi Beera.. The look of a typical wheat beer. Sweet, wheaty and slightly spicy. A touch of smoke.

highlandlad (1319) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - JAN 20, 2005
Good summer quaffer. Cloudy lemon colour with a thin white head. Surprisingly peppery nose, full of spices as well as the characteristic wheaty notes. The palate is creamy, verging on oily. Peppery flavours and coriander notes. Unusually citric. Refreshing but not the best example of the style. (Version sampled was a bottle imported to Australia as Brugs Witbier with a marginally lower abv at 4.8%.)

Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 21, 2004
On tap at The Financer, Paris. Cloudy yellow body topped with a thin white foamy head. Light yeasty and citrusy aroma. Taste is well-balanced, and the finish is fairly bitter and spicy. Not bad. The Brugs is often considered as a reference among the Belgian Witbiere, but I think there is a lot of pretty much better ones.

MrRomero (1959) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - DEC 1, 2004
Antwerp, Belgium, Dec 2004. On tap at the place across from Kulminator. Had this while waiting for the Kulminator to open. Poured cloudy yellow with a medium white head. Very little aroma. Maybe a little lemon. Light sweet first sip and finishes lightly sour.
