Hell-trübes Witbier. Im Geruch zitronig-würzig. Geschmacklich kommt der Koriander durch. Ausreichende Frische im Körper. Für meinen Geschmack ein zu lasches Witbier ohne die richtige Kraft. Das geht besser.Test vom 25.2.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

On tap in Belgo Centraal, London. Cloudy yellow with thin white head. Nose is orange and lemon and banana. Taste is citrous lemon and orange and slight yeast notes. Bit of corriander. Basically like an underpowered Hoegaarden, but still refreshing and nice to drink.

Quite pale yellow, hazy and with a white head, not as fluffy as some of the other wit around. Rather wheaty aroma, only some coriander tones, some tartness. Flavour is mild, yeasty, sweetish, some orange and banana notes. Seems a bit more bitter than the other whites. Smooth and refreshing, as you’d expect from a Belgian white. (From 33cL bottle)

bottle@bar: light straw coloured, the head didn’t last long, no real carbonation, tastes like wheat juice, simply gross & weird, some minor yeast, hint of old lemon, really light & watery, cheap, crappy wheat juice

An average white beer, nothing too special about it. Pales in comparison to Hoegaarden.

250 ml bottle in Germany. Murky lemon colored body with a medium sized white head. The aroma was spicey, lemon and wheat. Flavor was lemon citrus with cloves, medium body for a witbier and ok to drink but nothing outstanding!

Au fût à Hasselt pub irlandais de toute chose. Couleur dorée/foin avec une légère brume, mousse blanche. Dans le style et de plus tradition des grosses productions de Alken-Maes, une blanche belge qui reste approchable sans trop de complexité. Note de blé, un peu d’agrumes / citronnelle. Levure laisse cette impression d’esters fruité. C’est léger, crisp au palais.

Bottle. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, spices. Flavour is citrus, malt, coriander, spices, fruit. Medium body. OK beer.
