People can bash Blue Moon all they want, but come on, this is much worse. And the fact that it is Belgian doesn’t make it any better. Ok, rant over.
On tap @ some crappy cafe in Paris.
Golden colored, much less hazy then expected. Strong carbonation, fizzy soda-like head. Served with a slice of lemon..ugh.
Aroma: orange peels, hint of honey, wheat and carbonation
Taste: watery, prominent citric acid, some tangy spices and hay. Sourish aftertaste.
Yes it is smooth and refreshing, but that’s about it. Could I have a Hoegaarden, please?

Brugs Witbier bottle bought at Uehata near Osaka-Jo. 4.8% a beautiful cloudy gold pour with a fluffy white head of foam. Nice spicy coriander & clove aroma. Smooth body, fruitiness from the orange peel which gives it nice citrus notes that compliment the cloves & spices well. Super easy drinking great for summer.
