Lovely looks. Chestnut brown, very clear. A big, frothy, yellowish head on top. Fair duration. Aroma is sweet, good maltiness, chocolate, raisins and yeast. Light bit of chestnut actually. Medium carbonation, fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some light metal off-flavours, good dryness, lightly roasted, a bit of chocolate. Some hops and a dark chocolate finish. Very nice, as it settles. MiP (6723), Flensburg, Germany Oct 29, 2008 Draught at Bokbierfestival 2008. Very dark brown colour, seems clear. Spicy flavour, some dark malts. Quite clean for a Belgian.
