Very nice dark brown color with a fine red glare coming through. Just my color. Smell caramel, little chocolate and raisins. Taste is ok.

Bottled (from beerplanet.eu). Deep rubyish brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is caramel and bready malts along with some raisins, mild yeast and some alcohol. Flavour is sweet rye and bready malts along with some toffee, yeast, mild spices as well as yeast. A quite pleasantly balanced and bodied brew.

Sampled this new beer at Cambrinus in Brugge A very clear nutty brown in the glass, frothy khaki head. No real lacing to speak of. Smells of lightly roasty caramel malt. Nutty caramel malt in the mouth with just a hint of noble hops. Bready but very much a straightforward, traditional tasting bock beer. Lightly sticky body but with a crisp finish. Some nutty malt in the aftertaste and just a but of noble hops. Perhaps a bit more hops than you would expect in a bock beer but otherwise very true to the German style. Tasty stuff and quite drinkable. Worth a try, especially if you find it in Brugge.

Bottle. [thank you, bierkoning]
Lovely looks. Chestnut brown, very clear. A big, frothy, yellowish head on top. Fair duration. Aroma is sweet, good maltiness, chocolate, raisins and yeast. Light bit of chestnut actually. Medium carbonation, fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has some light metal off-flavours, good dryness, lightly roasted, a bit of chocolate. Some hops and a dark chocolate finish. Very nice, as it settles.

330 ml bottle @ Heeren van Liederkercke. Dark amber body with a creamy beige head. Aroma is mostly fruty, light spicy and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malty, brown sugar, spices and fruity. Medium body. Quite nice and balanced without being special in any direction, just nice.

Bottle at Delirium. Dark brown color with tan head. Dark fruity aroma. Med. body with smooth carbonation. Malty, but not overly sweet. Not a huge amount of hop, but it seems balanced. Good drink.
