UPDATED: JAN 9, 2012 31/12/2011 33cl bottle @ De Heeren van Liedekercke - BBE: 8/ 2013 (2011-745)

Little cloudy reddish brown beer, light beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: some caramel, flowers, spices star anise. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some caramel, sour fruits, touch of mocha, tart appel, overripe fruits (plums), spices, liquorish. Aftertaste: mocha, some caramel. I would not call it a bok, but it’s pretty ok.

Has a malty aroma. Wasn’t too enthusiastic about it, overall slightly watery and a bore.

Served on tap... Aroma has some cork and oak. Thin texture. Has a mild bittersweet flavour and a metallic finish. Rather bland.

Reddish brown colour, off white head. Aroma rather sweet but light. Malts, caramel, slight liquorice. Flavour unbalanced sweet, caramel, toffee, sweet malts. Not my favourite.
