3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 250ml. Golden yellow with white bubbly head. Fruity, lemony aroma leading to a spic but thin body, gentle and light on the tongue. The fruity body gives a wheaty, grassy note and a hint of banana with cloves in the spice. Short and quick on the finish. Reasonable beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared courtesy of fatty (thanks!). Poured a medium yellow color with a small sized white head. Very small floaters that were suspended throughout the beer. I initially got aromas of yeast, citrus and spices until Eric ruined it by the power of suggetion by saying it smelled like a beach ball. Tastes of citrus, spices, yeast and a little fruity. Lively body with a crisp and clean finish.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2008 250ml bottle (Bierboom, Bruges)
Without yeast, it’s practically lagery. Pale and with a scummy/mouldy head. Aroma starts lagery (pale malt) too, but sweetens up and gains a little peach and other fruitiness. Carbonation is quite lively in the mouth. Taste is slightly dull, and a bit crotchy. Touch of yeast and some harsh grassy hops. With the yeast, it’s more like a wit in appearance, and has a little less sweet aroma (however, we’re hopped up from the yeast-free sip, so not so sensitive), but perhaps a bit more crotchy. Palate is softer too. Taste gains a pleasant slightly-burnt nutty malt and bittering hop edge, and the hoppiness is made less harsh - so definitely add all the yeast. Still a tad crotchy and hoppy in the finish, not unpleasant. I think I’d like to try the brune, expecting to prefer it.
