Draught in Brugse in tripel glass. Slightly hazy amber colour, big carbonation driving a medium off-white head and good lacing. Slight spice in the aroma. Lots of malt and more spice in the flavour. Enjoyable and the 9 ABV is well hidden.

Clear pale body, with a persistent off-white head and ample lacing. Aroma of bready malt, some yeastiness, quite citric and crisp. Breadiness in the aroma, very grainy, malt dominates. Some spiciness from malt and hop. High on CO2, yet with a surprisingly substantial mouthfeel. Enjoyable but, yet another cookiecutter tripel..

Bottle at the ’Half Moon’ along the in Ghent-Brugge Canal in Belgium, amber with a large pillowy white head. A sweet yeast and malt aroma. The palate is a little astringent with some sourness and a lot of alcohol.

White head on an amber body. A very good example of a Belgian Trippel. It has the bittersweet taste, the strong alcohol and all the pleasures associeted with it.

A Mes rate: 33cl bottle from Lowlander 2. Clear amberish colour with a chunky and fairly solid head (almost wortha 4) Aroma is slightly fruity with some toffee. Rather sweet in the flavour too and maybe just a little too much.Malty with a fair amount of spice. A little sticy in the palate which does it no favours.Fruity alcoholic finish. Nothing overly special.
