This brewery makes two trippels, both of them are so good. This happens to be the one I prefer.

Perhaps it was the wrong glass, but there are much better Belgian Ales out there.

UPDATED: JUL 6, 2003 Bottle. Slightly darker in colour than most tripel-style beers, more a light amber colour. The taste is the other surprise. Not dry and hoppy like most abbey tripels but leaning toward the sweet. My tip for enjoying this beer: After pouring the beer slowly into the glass, add some of the yeast deposit to the beer. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Beautiful golden color on pouring. For best results try while visiting Brugges.
