Murky golden poor with slight deposits and a frothy off-white head. Aromas of apples, citrous, hops and green bananas. Good effervescence, medium body. Long lasting bitter mouthfeel that’s somewhat nicely balanced with its sweetness. Added flavors of lemon and orange zest. Nothing spectacular but still worthy.

Dark brown color. Mild aroma, quite typical Belgian, some caramel and some esters from the yeast. The flavor has some caramel, light yeast fruitness, but a bit poor overall.

Dark red body. Hazy. Tan on the head. I sense some burnt sugar in the aroma and hops. Flavor brings some roasted malt and some yeast as well. An Ok dubbel but not more.

Bruges-07. I tried this one right at the brewery in Bruges. Nutty receding head with some hints of caramel and roasted malt. I found it better than their blonde, but still nothing special.
