3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml Bottle. This pours a loose foamy tan head over a deep brown body with an average amount of lacing. Its aroma is almost non-existent with maybe the faintest hint of dark fruits and wheat. Its taste, as other have said, is very light for a dubbel, but there is a subtleness to it. a bitter start quickly moves into sweetness followed by dark fruits, caramel and maybe a hint of liquorice with a bitter finish. This beer is the darker brother of the ordinary Bruges Zot and the similarity is definitely there. On a night out I would prefer the lighter version, but on a cold night a couple of these would warm you nicely!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma bem discreto. Muito leve e meio aguada para uma dubbel. Em contra partida, é bem fácil de beber.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at home. Dark brown with bubbly creme head. Roasted sweet malt, brown sugar, spices (coriander), lot of yeast, hint of candy banana. Taste is over medium sweet with a light bitter sensation from the spices and the yeast. Body is medium, candy-like sticky, with slightly above average carbonation. There is better and there is worse, but there’s little to rave about.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of candi sugar and light caramel notes is tamer than I was expecting. Taste is also a standard mix of candi sugar and light caramel malt notes. Body is lighter than expected with some good carbonation. Sub-standard example of the style.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours brown with beige head. Head is extremely stable, it won’t go away... Nose is Metallic yeasty and malty. At First carbonation is high but quickly gases out in the mouth. So mouthfeel is rather tickeling. Taste is nuts, hazelnut grainy and finishing in a dry grassy weedy hop flavour. Definitly a good beer..

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown coloured dubbel with a beautiful, strong light brown head.
Small bitters a d sweetness of dried fruit. Not a very long aftertaste, but very drinkable.
