jwardell (23), Newton, Massachusetts, USA Aug 29, 2008 On tap. a light yet slightly sharp aroma. Typical Belgian taste good enough but not especially unique. Almost a wheat taste. wyzzywyz22 (754), Wirral, Merseyside, England Aug 29, 2008 Bottle, Beer Ritz, Leeds. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a smallish white head. Yawn. Aroma was stale cheesy farts, some hop and yeast. Not the nicest. Some grassy hop in the flavour, but a nasty metallic twang was evident that blighted this for me. Somewhat lager like in character and very disappointing. hellbilly (1492), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA Aug 28, 2008 on tap at papago... crystal clear gold color with a small white head. not a whole lot going on in the aroma... mostly yeast with grass, earth and some faint spiciness. flavors of yeast, spice, grape-like sweetness with a dry twig-like bitterness on the finish. as it warms a "corked wine" aroma and flavor appear... very odd. medium body with low carbonation. blutt59 (2042), Dallas, Texas, USA Aug 27, 2008 bottle, foamy pearl , head with nose of sour malt, very nice flavors of lemon, wheat, champagne and melon, great dry very smooth finish nbutler11 (729), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Aug 24, 2008 Poured like apple cider from the tap at Papago -- completely devoid of carbonation or foam. Apple, pear, and faint chardonnay grapes on the nose. Nectar mouthfeel with the sweetness of syruppy pear. Slightly tart finish. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA Aug 23, 2008 8/23/08: Bottle. Yellow-brown-orange body with a yellow white head which is medium-large. Spicy champagne nose that includes gasoline or some type of liquid chemical toward the back. which is more pronounced as the beer warms. Flavor has a lot of citrus up front - yeast, bread dough. Finish is a bit sour. Borresteijn (1347), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 21, 2008 On tap @ the brewery, last year. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of fruits and hops. Flavour is light, somewhere in between a Leffe blond and a Straffe Hendrik. Soft sweetness, a little dry. Metallic. OK. ryano (11), Australia Aug 11, 2008 not a bad beer at all. Shits on most beers thats for sure. Malty with a mettalic aftertaste. Head diminishes pretty quickly though. Had this one on tap and is a nice amber colour. Reccomended.
