Appearance: golden color. Medium and white head, lasting. Aroma: herbal spicy from hops, with coriander and some mentholated aromatic reminiscences. Also, the sweet aroma from pale malts. Flavor: lasting yeasty start. Progress of the pale malts and a herbal-spicy touch from hops; with medium, lasting dryness and slight metallic touch. Bitter fruitiness like grapefruit. Herby and yeasty aftertaste. Palate: medium body and high carbonation. Remark: balanced and nice beer, but without high-points.

bottle - Pours golden with lots of suspended yeast flakes. It has a mild yeast and malt aroma. It tastes of pale malt, yeast, and has more hops bitterness than one might expect. It’s very bubbly on the palate and struck me as a little watery. The finish is dry. While this beer is alright, I just didn’t think there was much to it. It’s drinkable, but at $4 for a small bottle at the liquor store, not worth getting again.

Bottle from John’s Marketplace in Portland, OR--Poured a hazy golden body with a frothy white head. Sweet candy and fruity aroma with yeasty esters. Spicy, malty caramel notes with a dry, clean finish.

On tap at the brewery de halve maan. A little sweet and bitter. Clear golden body with a sturdy white head. Should drink this one again.

On tap at Liars Club in Alpine Ca. A golden pale yellow in the glass with a nice 2 inch head. Flavors of yeast, some light bitter fruit. Pretty good.

A clear golden color with a lot of sediment because I did a really bad job of pouring it. A thick foamy white head. Nose is a nutty yeast with some fruity notes and a pretty solid, yet mild bitter aroma. The flavor was a little bit metallic, but once I got past that, it had some nice apple and caramel malt character. A medium-bodied beer. Very enjoyable and drinkable, but overall pretty average for a Belgian.

Clear golden amber body with a large frothy white head that persists. Some chunkiness. Sweet candi sugar aroma, light spice and some graininess. Flavor of candi sugar, some fruitiness, and a bit of spice. Medium light body with rather high carbonation.

A golden, little hazy colored beer, with a nice white head. An aroma of some grains, sweet malt and fruits. The taste is sweet, with a little citrus and little bitterness. A nice beer for a warm summer day.
