zakkbironia (82), Athens, Greece Aug 30, 2009 300ml glass. White head and pale yellow foggy colour. Great bitter classic belgian ale taste but lacks the extra thing that would boost up its rating. I haven’t been impressed but enjoyed it though. thirdeye11 (403), Texas, USA Aug 26, 2009 ( 330ml bottle) pours a pale yellow with nice head and good lacing. Nose of grass, citrus, and spices. Taste is spicy yeast, cinnamon, finishes nicely with a velvety carbonation. mar (1740), Rowlett, Texas, USA Aug 23, 2009 bottle thanks to thirdeye11. gold with a white head that dissipates to a ring. nose is yeast, dried fruits, apples and spices. nice on the palate with a flavor of orange skins, yeast and a spicy finish. leaves a lemon flavor in the mouth as well. BroSpud (583), , Massachusetts, USA Aug 20, 2009 Julio’s Belgian Beer Festival. Sample. By the time I got to this one I was seeing double. Rating it to keep track but don’t have any particulars. My notes say "good". DrBayern (1135), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Aug 17, 2009 33 cl. bottle. Clear gold, lots of effervescence produces a large, durable whtie head ad a thick lace. Fresh grainy aroma, light fruits add to the mix, and hints of spice become slowly apparent. Clean and dry, light body, and as noted, brightly effervescent. Light honey sweetness with the delicate balance of peppery hops is quite refreshing. Very drinkable, not an assertive beer, but it’s subtlety is intriguing. daniele (1642), Italy Aug 17, 2009 oro schiuma media discreta persitenza note legermente citriche un tocco fruttato leggero luppole uin bocca cnno molro corpo fresca leggerre acidita citrica finale lieve luppolato fresca thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Aug 15, 2009 Pour is a cloudy orange with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is fruity and yeasty with some notes of corriander. Flavor is fruity, spicy and candi sugar. The low alcohol makes this a solid Belgian beer for sipping. unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 11, 2009 12oz twist-off bottle @ 1st Annual RocketCity Brewfest, Huntsville, AL. Cloudy golden color. Bready aroma. Flavor is yeasty. Pale malt. Lots of dough. Lots of carbonation. Too much fizz. Kinda plain.
