The people of Bruges are known as "Brugse Zotten" (Bruges Fools), also known as "Brugse Jonckers"

Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a small cream color head that did not stay long. Taste has high carbonation. Aroma is not very present but a hint of malts and citrus is found. Flavors of yeast is very present, with fruity and spicy notes, and with a sweet and bitter finish. Dry and with a not of a smoky flavor last in mouth. Did not particularly enjoyed this beer.

Draught é L’Estaminet, Brugge. Beautiful blonde ale with thick, white, lacing and durable head. Grainy aroma, with some spicy notes. Taste is also grainy and spicy, with a fruity, honey note on it and yeasty. It finishes light hoppy and bitter, with a full mouthfeel. Refreshing and dry beer. A good one to drink, but lacks a bit in overall taste to be a real top beer.

300ml glass. White head and pale yellow foggy colour. Great bitter classic belgian ale taste but lacks the extra thing that would boost up its rating. I haven’t been impressed but enjoyed it though.

( 330ml bottle) pours a pale yellow with nice head and good lacing. Nose of grass, citrus, and spices. Taste is spicy yeast, cinnamon, finishes nicely with a velvety carbonation.

Julio’s Belgian Beer Festival. Sample. By the time I got to this one I was seeing double. Rating it to keep track but don’t have any particulars. My notes say "good".

33 cl. bottle. Clear gold, lots of effervescence produces a large, durable whtie head ad a thick lace. Fresh grainy aroma, light fruits add to the mix, and hints of spice become slowly apparent. Clean and dry, light body, and as noted, brightly effervescent. Light honey sweetness with the delicate balance of peppery hops is quite refreshing. Very drinkable, not an assertive beer, but it’s subtlety is intriguing.
