Ale refermentada en botella. Dorada ligeramente turbia. Riquisimo aroma frutal, que sigue en la boca en medio de un buen cuerpo. Albaricoque, uva. Carbonatacion media alta y final amargo sin perder el regusto frutal. Gran ale.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle; pours cloudy gold with a thin white head; sweet aroma of yeast, banana, some citrus, and spice; taste is slightly sour with citrus, yeast, and banana; finish is dry and bittersweet with some spice notes; a little light and not as good as other Belgian ales I have had

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle at home. Unfiltered hazy amber ale with rich white, firm collar. Besides the malt, grain flavours, the aromas are rather subtle. Hints of yeast, black pepper and citrus fruits. The mouth is full of malt, accompanied by some modest hoppy bitterness. A medium sweetness blends in perfectly. Yet, the palate is watery and the ending is somehow weak, with an abrupt finish. The palate should be sharpened, for now the brew taste is neither fish nor fowl. On a side note: the taste of this beer can vary big time! Is it a different use of groundwater, the difference between draught and bottle, or the huge variation of re-fermentation conditions in aged bottles? If it is the latter, I would suggest to let the beer ripe as long as possible. This blond will only benefit from the aging.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Tasted in Brugge.
Appearance is decent enough. Nose is a bit citrussy with some spices. The palate is ok, however it’s a bit too plain for me. As mentioned below, a bit ’lagery’.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bit to lagery for my liking almost pilsner like crisp sweetish malty with that Belgium taste in the background. Bottle at home should have chilled it down more would probably improve it.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
on tap at Zevende Hemel Bruges. Pours clear golden with a decent white head. Aroma is pilsner malts and some metallic flavour that seems a bit off. Medium body, malty a little sour touch (pasteurisation effect)? Mèh.
