beeranarchist (184), Aalborg, Denmark Feb 28, 2007 Bottle. Yellow, clear with a medium white head. Aroma is yeast, clover, malt sweetness, banana and some alcohol. Flavour is green apples, banana with slightly bitter finish. Very refreshing and pleasant, but a little ordinary. CaptainCougar (5379), Rockville, Maryland, USA Feb 26, 2007 Pours a transparent golden with some suspended yeast particles and a large airy, clingy, pillowy white head. Sweet bready biscuity Belgian malty aroma has some peppery coriander notes and a touch of green European hops. Starts with some light flowery sweetness, foamy carbonation and a drier, slightly metallic finish. An ok Belgian ale, but I’d like to see a little more body and flavor in it. eyesandsmiles (179), Mission Viejo, California, USA Feb 21, 2007 Apart from everyone else it seems, I found the aftertaste fo this beer exquisite. Its a nice mix between a light and a dark beer. highly recommended. IrishBoy (2685), Bakersfield, California, USA Feb 20, 2007 Bottle from Ledgers; BB Feb 09; Nose of banana esters, spices, caramel and yeast; clear darl gold with a small off white head; flavor with caramel, light fruitiness, spices, and some background hop bitterness, the mild hops lasting into a very tiny bitter finish! jhliesen (403), West Melbourne, Florida, USA Feb 17, 2007 Bottle at the Brick Store Pub, GA--Light orange appearance with a strong citrus and lemon taste and feel about the lips. kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Feb 9, 2007 On tap in Brugges brewery.
Pale gold in color. Aroma of citrus and some hops. Thin mouthfeel with some spicy yeast and a mild hop finish. SSSteve (2045), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Jan 28, 2007 gold with floating yeast chunks. medium sized white head. malty, hoppy, tropical aroma. flavor is slightly metallic. no depth. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 27, 2007 Fairly disappointing, all fluffly and light without much aroma or flavor. It’s a slightly hazed gold with a foamy head. It smells of yeast and a very light, pale malt. The flavor has a little citric tartness added to it and it has a dry finish. Whoopty-doo.
