Bosskie (106), Netherlands Jul 12, 2009 Clear golden reddish lightly carbonated frothy head.
Coriander citric yeasty sweet smell... the beer was a bit cold which may explain the lack of taste and smell.
Watery coriander yeasty taste with a lightly sweetish and citric taste. Some cuimin in there too. jrallen34 (123), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 2, 2009 Drank from draft at the De Halve Mann Brewery in Bruge.
Head - Big head, faces quickly.
Aroma - Nice fruity smell.
Color - pale straw
Taste - This is a very below average Belgian Blonde. Slight taste of apricot, not good. Geokkjer (256), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 11, 2009 Pours pale golden light with a white head,
Yeast in suspension makes it hazy.
Flavour of banana and citrus. Medium body.
An average Belgian blonde. MagnumPI (56), Essex, England Jun 6, 2009 GO RUB ZEST !
Nice pale colour on pouring with a frothy white head. Looked fairly lagery, and yet the smell promised much with a really fruity bouquet. The first taste was really mild in comparison, with a pale flavour that threatened to explode at times but remained in anonymity. The odd bit of citrus wasnt enough to turn this beer into anything but an average Belgian blonde. Quinten (955), zaandam, Netherlands May 29, 2009 Ad vonk slijterij in Zaandam, bottle 33cl, hazy golden, medium head, some fruits like banana, some grain and little bitter, nice one. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA May 29, 2009 On tap. Slightly hazy brown pour with a tiny white head. Musty, yeasty aroma. Flavor is slightly sour, tangy malt. Buttery mouthfeel with a cask-like smoothness. Very good. hallinghansen (263), Odense SV, Denmark May 27, 2009 Bottle. Golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is fruit, flowery and i bit parfumed. Flavor is flowery and sweet fruit. roebuck (44), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA May 25, 2009 On tap at the Chicken In in Brugge, Belgium. Great restaurant too! Pours in a hazy yellow color. Frothy head that disolves fast. A bit like an IPA with some hops but not as intense. Mix a lighter IPA and the typical Belgian Ales and you’ve got this guy.
