Parket (214), Bruges, Belgium Mar 29, 2009 My townbeer! bottle, golden colour, nice small head staying during more then one hour, fruity, grainy, little sweet, easy to drink and quite awesome! sebletitje (1880), Tampa, Florida, USA Mar 23, 2009 bottle. pours hazy golden with quickly disappearing white head. Lots of floating sediments.
Aroma has notes of Belgian yeast, grainy and some fruits.
Taste, yeasty, some malts, light fruits sweetness almost banana putting it right under an abbey style.
Finish of light bitterness, with some spices felt on the palate and good bubbly carbonation mouthfeel.
Disappointed by the overall palate. Stefano (1321), Esbjerg, Denmark Mar 10, 2009 Amber colour with a white head. Aroma is spice, sweet and notes of fruits. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. ruggedman (613), Portland, Maine, USA Mar 7, 2009 330ml bottle at Novare Res.
Pours a golden cloudy with a big frothy head. Aroma is light and foofy, like flowers, mint, and grass. Flavors are light also, just citrus, grassy, and yeasty. Subtle caramelly note in the finish. Smooth and soft in the mouth with a slight sting on the palate. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA Mar 1, 2009 Bottle: Hazy golden colored pour with large white head. Citrusy, yeasty aroma. Sweet, spicy, lemony light bitter finish. esox (259), Oulu, Finland Feb 10, 2009 Draught @ the brewery. Hazy orange to yellow beer with a large white head. The aroma is quite hoppy and spicy. Coriander and orange peel are quite obvious, also some dried fruits in the finish. The flavor is mellow, medium bitter and it has some sweetness on dried fruits, The palate is very smooth, soft and medium bodied. Very easy to drink. radagast83 (1273), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Feb 2, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. Pours a yellow color with a foamy white head. Aroma is citrus and yeast. Flavor is alright, but there are too many floaties in the beer for my taste. chillyice (13), Rio Nido, California, USA Jan 30, 2009 Nothing spectacular but widely available. Refreshing belgium blonde, but not the best out there.
