One of the most heavily sedimented ales I’ve ever had, there are large clumps floating in this. The aroma is of citrus and yeast/bread. The flavor is of citrus and slightly spicy. This was pretty good but the sediment was so heavy that it sort of overwhelmed the flavor with bread in the finish, not a bad thing for a German beer, but sort of odd for a Belgian ale, although not necessarily a bad thing, just different.

23 june 2011, bottle. ed yellow, slightly hazy, steady bubbles. foamy white head. yeasty, slightly grassy/floral aroma w/ faintest hint of butter. med body and slightly fizzy. sweet, sugary, slightly alcoholy though well balanced. nicely balanced alcohol, belgian sugary yeast. delicious!

I’m surprised to see the low score on this website. It’s one of my favorite Belgian Ales. It’s fresh, quite clear, and has a great CO2 mouthfeel. Not a really extreme beer, but it’s very balanced.

On tap at the Belgian Cafe (unfiltered). Poured a cloudy golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas and tastes of yeastiness, some citrus, and some lighter spiciness.

Clear, light golden beer with a bubbly and fluffy white head. Spicy aromas of pepper and yeasty notes of citrus plus a little coriander. Slightly sparkling mouth feel, where the sweet malt, light citrus and some peppery notes dominate. Relative light body. Long finish, almost without bitterness.

Pours a clear golden color with a thin, white, bubblie head. Aroma of wheat . Taste is spicy, crisp. Hind of banana. A little watery.

33cl bottle. Pours golden with a light brown towards th head. There is a generous head and plenty of bubbles. The nose has orange and a grassiness. The taste has more orange and maybe lemon sherbet with some herbs on the end. The palate has medium structure, a creamy texture and a refreshing zingy finish. Overall, a good beer!
