It’s 3:00 in the morning, and you’re a dry-cleaner... it would be ridiculous for me to expect you to be open. .. . gold on the pour.. . big wispy head, lacing is killer .. . muddled and more muddled .. pretty damn sweet .. . a good Belgian but very middle of the road ..

Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a clear pale golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma was dry, musty and lightly tangy. The flavor was dryish, lightly tangy, a bit bready and had hints of citrus. Overall fairly bland an uninspired.

Tap, at ’t Brugs Beertje, Brugge, March 2006. Amber gold, thin white head and good condition. Gentle sweet maltiness in the nose with a delicate hop note, sweet and yeasty in the mouth with some malt tempered by a low hop bitterness, low nutty finish with a yeast bitterness and a little spiciness.Reminded me of Palm.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 FlacoAlto (3086) - Tucson, Arizona, USA - MAR 17, 2007
Sampled at Lucky Baldwins, February 2007
The beer is brilliantly clear and shows a straw gold color. It is topped by a frothy, creamy, rocky, light to pale tan colored head that is quite big for a beer from the tap and in fact leaves quite a well defined lacing pattern on the sides of the glass. The aroma is dominated by grassy hop aromatics, but there are also some fresh grain notes and a lightly toasted, biscuit malt character here as well.
The beer tastes lightly, well not it is fairly sweet, but it is deceptive as it is quite light on the palate. The flavor is grassy with notes of hay; these notes seem to be derived from both the malt / grain character as well as the particular hop choice. This beer has a really nice, pale malt character to it; the combination of malt sweetness, biscuit notes and touches of soda crackers really compliments the grassy hop notes. This tastes like a cross between a malt accented, yet still quite hoppy, pils and a Belgian ale, which is I suppose quite what the brewer was attempting. It is very easy drinking and I can definitely see quaffing a few of these on a seasoned Summer day.
2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 EithCubes (3050) - GERMANY - APR 25, 2006

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Nate (3026) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 3, 2009
On tap at ’t Brugs Beertje. Light mild fruity aroma with a bit of hops. Sweet but not overpowering. Standard Belgian ale aroma, pleasant but not outstanding. Slight bitter aroma, some oxidation. Light golden clear with thin lacing white head. Medium watery body with medium light carbonation. Starts light and quenching with a bit of sweet malt and a light bitter character. Musky grain and light hops. Decent little ale but nothing spectacular.
