Golden-colored with quarter-inch yeast chunks motoring about, and a humongous head that settles to a lasting foam ring. Aroma is honey, malt, grapes, apples and alcohol. Flavor is bubblegum and malt on front with an undercurrent of dry tingly hops and yeast. Finish brings in the dryish fruit and alcohol notes. Palate is light-medium and tingly. The alcohol seems pretty noticeable for 6% and I usually don’t like that, but it seems to provide some nice flavor balancing for this beer. TheGrandMaster (1882), Auckland, New Zealand
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Bottle, a clear amber with a large foamy white head. A light aroma, a bit sour. Some malt characters, but quite astringent, smoothness in the dry finish. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is light fruity and spicy. The flavor is light, refreshing malty with a spicy and fruity touch. Medium body and rather short finish. Drinkable but a bit anonymous and ordinary for my liking. lithy (1860), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 3, 2007 A so so Belgian. Aroma of fruity esthers. Pour was a beautiful light orange with nice sediment and a thick bubbly 2 finger head. Taste was bitingly carbonated with some spiciness present. Heavy grass in the taste. Some malt in there as well but that carbonation rules the beer. Some mustiness is noticeable as well. Pretty average. SudsMcDuff (1857), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

You don’t need to be sorry. It’s 3:00 in the morning, and you’re a dry-cleaner... it would be ridiculous for me to expect you to be open.
