3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours golden, good foamy head. Smells of malts, fruits and hops. Taste starts sweet, a good bit of bitter kicks in and finishes sweet-ish, more fruity and malts.
Nice balance between sweet and hoppy bitter.

Brings nice summer breeze to my memory. Fruity, floral taste and aroma. Light but not in watery way. That’s what I like about this brew. Nice for hot summer holiday.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice Belgian blonde, feels bit too light and overcarbonated, but lovely fruity/flowery, summery and refreshing. Certain malty profile, toasted caramel, banana, bit bubble gum, yeast presence. Moderate sweet all the way.
Lovely well balanced brew, tho, nothing too fancy.

Bottle; Unfiltered. In 2005 Xavier Vanneste, son of Mrs Véronique Maes, renovated and restarted the old brewery which had been in the family since 1856. He launched Brugse Zot, a new beer with a unique recipe. Today Brugse Zot is the only beer brewed in Bruges’ town centre! The people of Bruges are known as "Brugse Zotten" (Bruges Fools), also known as "Brugse Jonckers"

33cl bottle@house in Spa in tulip glass@approx 6 degrees C. Pours clear golden with large white head with good retention turning into lacing as time passes.Aroma of malt, sweetness and a little fresh fruit. Flavour smooth with malt dominant but pleasant hoppiness also. Both malt and hops present in long aftertaste. Very well balanced with a good carbonation and mouthfeel adding to the good experience. I seem to remember that it is even better from tap, but this bottle did not let me down.

Comes out of tap slightly hazy golden with a fairly thick and fine-bubbled buff head.alty aroma has a fruity overtone that presents pear and banana tones. Flavor mirrors the notes of the aroma and adds a hint of hops. Mouthfeel has good body snd fair fizz. No fooling - you zot to try one.
