Bottle; Unfiltered.
In 2005 Xavier Vanneste, son of Mrs Véronique Maes, renovated and restarted the old brewery which had been in the family since 1856. He launched Brugse Zot, a new beer with a unique recipe. Today Brugse Zot is the only beer brewed in Bruges’ town centre!
The people of Bruges are known as "Brugse Zotten" (Bruges Fools), also known as "Brugse Jonckers"

Drank on tap at Kafe Belgie, Utrecht. Blond Belgian Ale with a nice colour and average size of head. It tasted a bit like a Belgian white instead of an Ale, due because of the citrus aroma and fresh taste. Will drink this again.

Serving: 750 ml. bottle. It pours a deep gold color with a tight white head. Nice mix of Belgian yeast aromas, light caramelized malt, candied citrus peel, and spice. Straight forward flavor profile. Citrus, yeast, and a light sweet flavor. Fairly high carbonation. Not bad.

Pours a hazy golden color. Aroma and taste are wheat, hints of fruit, and has a sweet finish.

Fomos a fábrica situada em Bruges e apreciamos o sabor e toda a história que envolve essa cerveja saborosa, leve amargor e teor alcoolico moderado.

Pours murky orange with a small white head. Smells fruity with hints of caramel. Taste is caramel, banana, hints of biscuit. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and average mouth-carbonation, Brugse Zot finishes with a lingering spiciness.

Fresh hop aroma. Orange with a wall sticking foam. Carbonation tickles the tongue. Gentle feel in the mouth, ladylike.

Good, complex Belgian beer. The citrus and ginger aroma; the apple and orange taste. Quite sour, very fresh.

Has a delicate fruity aroma, tiny notes of strawberry. It’s clear, golden color, with nice head and great lacing. In taste it’s a little bit sour and very very refreshing.

I had this at my sisters house. Pours gold with a white head. Taste fruity, belgian yeast, sweet. I thought this was good. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The Brugues ’city beer’ and a successful new start of this old brewery. Yellowish white, finely structured, sticky, dense and stable foam, colour a golden peach blonde, misty. Yeasty and fruity aroma of orange, green apple, peach, bread, caramel, ginger, straw, cardboard. Fruity, lightly malty taste, some green apple, bit grainy, bit yeasty, finishing in a short but balancing hop bitterishness. Almost like a lighter version of Duvel. Certainly not the worst of these middle strength Belgian blondes suitable for tourists in outdoors cafés.
