UPDATED: JUL 29, 2008 A golden, little hazy colored beer, with a nice white head. An aroma of some grains, sweet malt and fruits. The taste is sweet, with a little citrus and little bitterness. A nice beer for a warm summer day.

In bottle in Bruge. Pours a golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma of bready yeast, biscuity malt, caramel and alcohol. Similar flavours with grassy hops and Weetabix malt also. Quite dry to finish with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.

33cL bottle. I drank this at the brewery, too, and loved it! Really nice aroma, great appearance (awesome pour), medium-high carbonation, golden color. Balanced, slightly oily taste. Medium body. Nice palate, little more bitter at the end. Great beer.

(27.02.12)Orange-gelbe Farbe, Gleichmäßig trüb mit wenig Schaum. Im Aroma überwiegend Koriander mir spuren von Pfefferminze. Es Wirkt leicht süß. Im Geschmack ebenfalls überwiegend Koriander, fast zu viel, leichte Citrusaromen. Wie gewohnt bei belgischen Bieren hat es zu viel CO2 für mich.

In bottiglia. Limpido color oro con un’imponente strato bianco di schiuma. Aroma floreale ed erbaceo mediamente dolciastro con sentori di luppolo, frutta e paglia. Gusto mediamente intenso, leggermente amaro con note luppolate che rafforzano il finale asciutto; di corpo molto lieve e un po’ acquosa al palato, però dissetante.

Brown 33cl bottle given to me by my daughter after a trip to Brugges. Best before Feb 2010, I can’t wait that long, so I drank it in June 2007. I’ve since had it many times both bottled and on-tap. Poured into a Duvel glass, because I can. The colour is very simular to a Duvel, that golden yellow that Belgian beers often manage to achieve. The head however was not as white or large as the Duvel produces, this was slightly off white and faded to a half inch very quickly. The aroma was very lemon citrus, grapefruit and straw. Tangy taste, with citrus flavours combined with apples and yeasty, hoppy tones. The tartness stays in the mouth as the citrus and other flavours die away, the mouth also becomes drier as the flavours fade. This is a summers day drink, there are so many very good Belgian ales out there, that this one is just above mid-table in my opinion. The better ones can be taken all year, not just in the warm weather.

#1261 Strohgelbes Bier mit Schwebeteilchen, mäßige Schaumbildung. Ein fruchtig-hefiges Aroma. Im milden Antrunk kommt die Fruchtigkeit gut rüber: Orangeade, Citrus, etwas Koriander. Im Abgang moderat herb. Insgesamt ist dieses jecke Bier vom Faß in Brügge ein gefährlich süffiges Tröpfchen, denn das ganze ist sehr harmonisch ausbalanciert. Pflichtbier in Brügge!

Donker gouden kleur met een witte schuimkop. Ruikt licht citrusachtig. Smaak is eerst citroenzuur. Vervolgens brood met een golfje zoet en iets zoetig eindigend. Aldus Huubs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Qbrick. Yeasty, mild maltiness. Incredible non-stop head of foam. Flavors of honey and bready malt. A bit of harshness in the aftertaste. Pleasant but fairly one dimensional.

Medium body, cloudy dark golden colur. Lossed head quite fast. Very fruity aroma with spicy notes. Taste is sweet, also fruity with very low bitterness.

Non capisco il basso rating. Sapore e odore floreale e molto fruttato, assomiglia molto a una tripla. Retrogusto persistente!
