Bottled. A hazy red-amber beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruits, caramel, and some citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemon, straw, and some malt and caramel, leading to a dry finish.

750 ml corked bottle. A hazy medium amber beer with an average sized, frothy, lacing, mostly diminishing beige head. The aroma is moderately malty, lightly hoppy, lightly yeasty, with notes of toasted nuts, caramel, sugar. flowers, cobwebs, a hint of plum and alcohol. Not bad. The flavour is moderately to heavily sweet, lightly sour, lightly bitter. A bit cloying after few sips. Watery, lightly syrupy mouthfeel, medium body, lively carbonation, average finish with light to medium bitterness, lightly alcoholic, lightly unclean. Pseudo craft/abbey beer, with a nice aroma and a decent appearence, but that’s all, cloying and too sweet in the mouth. Can’t drink a lot of it.

33cl bottle. Hazy amber ale with a healthy off white head. Nose of yeast and caramel malts. Flavour is nutty caramel malt with soft spicy overtones. Smooth mouthfeel with a dryish finish. Not bad but very expensive if you are buying this Down Under.

LordCorkscrew (1758) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - JUL 15, 2008

it has a strange aroma of metal, alcohol, malt and yeast. It looks hazy and brown with a disapearing head. Flavor is malt, apple, cinamon and yeast.

Bottle, bought @ Belgisk Bryg, Cph.br Pours light hazy amber with a small, creamy off-white head. Aroma is yeasty, some caramel and a touch of spice. Thin mouthfeel. Flavour is very spicy, very dry. Some caramel and berries, but really isn’t that nice...
