3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy light blond color. Quite classic Belgian Ale, some dry, spicy and lightly fruity aroma; some dry malt character, yet simple. A bit too alcoholic.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
A slightly hazy honey colored brew with a foamy off-white head. Lively carbonation and good lacing. Sweet flowery scent with a bit of citrus and plastic. Fizzy with a citrus front with some malt and candi sweetness. Like those odd dimestore hard lemon candys with the fizzy center. A slightly floral hop follow.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled (BB 10/2006)
Hazy yellow color with decent white head. Aroma is fruity and a bit sour: orange, apple juice and sugar. Quite thin body which is backed with alcohol. Sweet fruity, slightly sourish lemonade llavor. Plain and a bit boring ale. Way too overrated here, maybe because of nice Abbaye-label :)

belgiumy candy sweet and bread and YEAST in the aroma. Flavor is sweet, very little hop action of any kind, and bready. OK.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Trouble gold, amberish shine; lemon-yellow head, dwindling. Rather sweet nose, vanilla perfumed, and lots of citrus. Liquorice, and toasted malt, very uneasily paired with citrussy acidity. Retronasal again citrus, and some hints of hopbitterness. Light texture, spritzy but some filling by the malt. Bit of dry-out effect. Aimed at better, spoiled by inbalance. Not convincing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This beer has a light yellow body - hue apperance and a fine white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had now carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Looks like a pale ale, like yellow, transluscent, with a large white head. Floral aroma of honey and pears. Flavor was fairly diluted, somewhat sweet. Finish is moderately sweet.
