3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a surprisingly clear yellow beer with a slight haze. Head is rather small, white and airy but laces well.
Aroma is typically belgian with fruity and malty tones. I found citrusy notes, pears, mellon, soft spices and white wine.
Flavor is intensely sweet with marginal bitterness and fruitiness. In the tongue the spices are very assertive. There are notes of chardonnay, pears, grapefruit and some pancake.
Soft in the palate, body is medium and the texture is oily and fizzy. A good Belgian Ale maybe a little short from the top tier in the style.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
33cl bottle. Hazy orange/gold with a small white head. Nose : Strong fruity and floral aromas. yeast. Caramel, honey malts. Sip : Full-Throat carbonation. Oily body. Creamy malts with soapy aromas, little honey sweet. Fruity cherry soap. Some little citrus notes aswel. I donít enjoy beers that are swallowed as foam .... Well, itís richly aromatic bubblegum like and Iím sure some people might find that interesting. Not for me though.

Mellow bready malt aroma, quite yeasty. Cloudy, large head. Lovely mellow bready taste too. Honeyish. Super drinker, no sense of 7%. Smooth and full palate, pleasant carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
11/19/11. 11.2oz bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with touches of orange under a one finger frothy off-white head that cuts in half but sticks and laces in soapy rings. Surprisingly light aroma of corn, fruity esters, and a bit of cream. Slightly sweet, fruity flavor with bitter corn, graininess, and a touch of metal. A bit thin and watery. Meh.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 9, 2013 Not bad, quite sweet, fairly hoppy and spicy. Not much in the way of aroma and complexity but itís balanced and enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden coloured body with a thick frothy white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, malt, coriander seed, light spices and a touch of light dry hops. Medium-bodied; Spicey flavour at first with some dry malt, wheat and a heavy dose of yeast. Aftertaste shows a little coriander seed, a touch of curacao and some mild yet flavourful hops. Overall, a nice beer and a very welcome change from mass produced chinese lagers that I have been drinking. I sampled this stubby 33 cL bottle purchased from International Grocery Store in Wan Chai/Admirality (United Centre) as part of the Belgian Month celebration with a HK (not brewery, nor Belgian) best by date of 28-02-2014, purchased for HK$16.90 (cheaper than I could ever find in the USA!) on 25-August-2011 sampled the same day later in my hotel room in Central, Hong Kong on 25-August-2011.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy ochre-amber color with a large foamy off white head. The aroma was candied pear, bread and sugar. The flavor did not live up to the promise of the aroma although it did have some pleasant notes of must, bread, sugar and golden fruits. The finish was medium length must and bread. Fairly full bodied. Decent.
