2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bockimstein (165) - New Madrid, Missouri, USA - FEB 18, 2011
750 to tulip on 2/15/11 shared with friends. Pours a pale gold and appears a bit cloudy, white head that is mostly gone, but with some slight lacing. I get floral hobs, some bread malt and apricots with some citrus. Slightly sweet. Really very light for the style, it would make a decent summer companion.

Pour is a hazy blonde with an average white head. Aroma is all things dry pils malt. Flavor is again a dry pils malt with a little Belgain yeast at the end. It does have a little pale lager wet paper after taste but that’s minimal. Easy to drink and enough things to make this enjoyable.

750mL corked punt bottle. BB Feb2011
Pours quite a lacklustre hazy orange-gold body with a quickly dissipating foam.
Dull aroma; some honey, pepper, bread dough, browned apple flesh and ripe apricot.
Low carbonation, suprisingly lean body for strength but seems to do little to mask the warmth and flavour.
Cooked apples on the body, bit of spice and breadiness. Finishes warming, dry, bit skanky.
Really disappointing! Just doesn’t seem like a well polished commercial example of the style.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 seritomi (195) - HUNGARY - OCT 19, 2010
Egy elfogadható belga sör de semmi több van nála rengeteg szebb és jobb.
Nem elég karakteres gyengécske szerintem ebben a kategóriában.
nevermore!

Cloudy golden pour with a thin white head. The nose is a little bit spicy with a touch of lightly oxidized malt character. A touch of lean apricot and even a bit of mintiness. Light bodied with an almost melony frutiness and a kiss of sweetness. Light clove and dry apple flavour as well. Dry finish. It’s a fairly typical Belgian pale ale, but it has a lightness and a quality that is kind of ethereal – I like it a whole lot more than other people seems to.
