Bottle at Brux Ale, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear straw colour with a very white frothy head a lots of carbonation. The aroma is fresh and yeasty. The flavour is clean, crisp and with all that Belgian yeast and malt. Itís not too dissimilar to many other Belgian blondes Iíve tasted and it has many similarities with Duvel. Itís highly drinkable and ilíll order another!

11.2oz Bottle. The pour was a murky gold with a light brown hue and a small (1 finger or less) white fizzy head that diminished rapidly down to a thin film with a small collar, which did create some fair runny lacing. The aroma was of a light grain malt and a musty doughy yeast with notes of apple, pears, banana and a hint of spice. The taste was very malty with a nice fruity ester from the beginning, and then progressed with a strong yeast presence and a mild spicy bitterness towards the end. The flavor lingered for an average amount of time after the swallow, with a mild alcohol warming sensation at the very end. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a ticklish carbonation. Overall this was a somewhat light Strong Ale both in body and in flavor, although it does offer an exceptionally smooth drinkability...

11.2 oz bottle 9/11/12 (Binnyís Downers Grove)-46į in Trappist Glass-Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of yeast, spices, grains, and hay. Taste of the same with a bit of hops and more spices. This light bodied brew is well balanced and goes down quite easy.

Bottled 18/08/12. a goloden coloured beer with a white head. Sweet notes and yeasty notes in the nose. Very lagery in the mouth. Lots of saazz floral notes. A bit thin. Late pepperiness. Quite ordinary really.

750ml. Bottled 6 / 2010. Pours a bright gold. Active and high foamy head. Aroma of Belgian yeast and apples. Medium to full bodied, strong carbonation. Anise, yeast, spice, and apples are the predominant flavors. Crisp, dry finish with lingering spice. Maybe lost a bit of the hop profile in the last 2 years in the cellar, but this drinks exceptionally. The 7% ABV goes down very smoothly. A fine Belgian blonde.

Pours a hazy golden yellow from the bottle with nice frothy white head and moderate lacing. Aroma of fruity, sweet esters, belgian yeast, and slight grainy malts. Taste follows suit, but falls flat. Good, but missing something.
