Jan 19, 2008 25 cL bottle, thanks to BelJohansen. Pours hazy yellow with a huge white head. Nice berry fruity to citrus fruity aroma. Flavour is mellow yeasty with a subdued citrus fruit note. Ends with a nice fruity and yeasty note. Nice.

Jan 17, 2008 [Session @ yespr] Hazy golden with medium head. Aroma is mild sweet fruity with yeast and light alcohol notes. Flavor is somewhat sweet, spicy and yeasty. Fruity notes with primarily orange peel.

Jan 17, 2008 Bottle. [Courtesy of BelJohansen, another great session @ yespr] Average fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Cloudy orange colour. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of citrus, fruit, hint of spice, caramel. Over the palate some yeast, grain. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Light to moderated sweet with light acidic. Light sweet and acidic like finish.

Jan 9, 2008 Pours a hazy dark yellow with slight amount of foamy white head. Aroma is lots of banana, lemon, yeast and spices. Flavor is kind of flat and plain, slight banana bread taste but more dry and bitter than expected. Overall, aroma the best part.

Really maltu with yeasty and fruity notes. Some warm alco-feel.

Dec 27, 2007 Bottle (33 cl) from Systembolaget, Munkebäck, Göteborg, Sweden. Hazy golden with a small white head. Fruity and herbal malt aroma with bananas and yeast notes. Light to medium bodied with a slightly spritzy carbonation. Dry with moderate bitterness.

Dec 21, 2007 Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a clear golden yellow with a bubble white head with surprising longevity. Aroma is barnyard, muskiness, honey and a touch of oak. Lively mouthfeel. Flavour has a dry tartness with lots of herbs. This is surely a Saison, not a Belgian Ale. Some ginger, light peppers, banana and apples. The 7 % are nowhere to be seen.

Oct 30, 2007 Bottle purchased at Kazansky’s in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh. Hazy pale cider, white head. Aroma is tangy bleu cheese, vinegar, skunk, oak. Flavor is honey wheat sour dough, oak, cheese, slight fruit. The aroma and flavor are different enough to be strange. That said, I probably wouldn’t buy this beer again.
