| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk. Pours a clear golden yellow with a bubble white head with surprising longevity. Aroma is barnyard, muskiness, honey and a touch of oak. Lively mouthfeel. Flavour has a dry tartness with lots of herbs. This is surely a Saison, not a Belgian Ale. Some ginger, light peppers, banana and apples. The 7 % are nowhere to be seen. zebracakes (1219), Washington DC, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 30, 2007 Bottle purchased at Kazansky’s in Squirrel Hill, Pittsburgh. Hazy pale cider, white head. Aroma is tangy bleu cheese, vinegar, skunk, oak. Flavor is honey wheat sour dough, oak, cheese, slight fruit. The aroma and flavor are different enough to be strange. That said, I probably wouldn’t buy this beer again.
