Though its name is Black Makasi, the color is clear orange. Aroma of roasted malts, rye. Deep malty flavor, with a lingering malty palate.

light bread and hoppy aroma,golden, amber, off white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, fizzy, soft carbonation, nice malty finish.

Lot of acid. Colour is brown and hazy. Has an off-white head, diminishing. Aroma of acid and berries. Flavor starts moderate sweet, then moderate acid and finish light bitter. Dry texture and lively carbonation.

Bottle. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark amber colour. Heavy malty and light hopy aroma. Strong fruity notes. Moderate bitter slightly sour flavor. Week fruity notes. Average moderate bitter finish. caramel present. Oily palate.

Pours amber color with medium head. Aroma of spices, caramel malts and ripe fruits. Flavor of fruits, caramel, toffee, malts and faint notes of liquorice.

not 100% sure this is the right beer; bomber purhcased locally. Good beer - nothing stood out - just a good combination/mix of everything!!

0,33 Bottle at Champagneria, Oslo. Pours dark brown with a big tanned head. Aroma of nutty malts weak liquorice, prunes and some yeasty notes as well. Taste is sweet nutty malts, light metallic aftertaste, interesting and moreish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A great satisfying classic Belgium brune. Elegant high class beer. Must try. The fruity aspects of this beer are phenomenal. Plum, prune, pear and peach. Woody, musty, barrel. First rate bitter profile. Carbonation and body are perfect. Top ten for me.

Bottle. Brown hazy with little head or lace. Aroma of belgian yeast, malt, and fruity esters. Taste starts sweet on a fairly thin flat body with a light nut and spice notes. Quick dry finish with a little bitterness. Not a very interesting beer.
