3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy amber colour with a white head. Aroma is fruits, caramel malts, burnt sugar and yeasts. Taste is sweet, with fruits, some alcohol, spices, yeast and sweet malts. Medium body, with a sweet and burning finish from the alcohol. Too sweet for me to be a good tripel.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Pours a cloudy amber with lots of tiny impurities and an off-white head. Comes a heavy gusher. Overripe fruit, yeast and booze in the nose. Solid body, lovely fruitiness, a little spice and flowery hops. A little late metal. Some alcohol heat in the finish. 161211

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
11/20/11. 11.2oz bottle. Slightly hazy golden pour with a small frothy one finger head that fades fast but laces a fair amount. Sweet, fruity esters in the aroma that touch on honey and bubblegum. Sweet honey flavor up front with yeast, graininess, a bit of banana and bubblegum, and lingering dryness and alcohol. Not terrible, but could be more complex.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
bottle pours a pale slightly cloudy gold with fluffy white head. Aroma is fruity, with notes of white grape, pear, apple, honey. This tripel is more subdued, with zesty, spicy notes, bread, and soft notes of grape. Lively carbonation, medium bodied. Good, but not great.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange gold color with a decent sized off white head. Aroma of butterscotch and bread with similar flavors. Sort of a sour bitter finish. Medium bodied. A bite to the tongue initially but finishes smoothly enough. Not bad.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to Phil for this one! Cloudy orange pour, with a huge white head. Candied oranges and lemons with cardamom on the nose. This is a light, refreshing dessert brew. Very effervescent, with hops and a bit of white pepper and baking spices joining the palate. Finishes dry. Very clean, very nice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep caramel malts. Deep burnt red hue with a smell of cinnamon. Subtly sweet with a bit of hops. Distinctly Belgian, delicious, good body and a slyly tingly aftertaste.
