Stubby bottle, 330 ml, at home. Poured into a new tulip glass since my girlfriend broke my old one and she is now forbidden of even touching my beer glasses. ABV 9%. 2.32€ Golden yellow colour on the body, only a tiny bit hazy. Two fingers of soapy, snow white head. Good retention and a couple of rings of lacing created on the glass as the foam went down. Aroma is yeasty, with a mix smell of floral and fruity hops following. The high alcohol makes it smell at first like a cheap, high alcohol pilsner, but it becomes better as it warms up, with the fruity side shining a bit more. Strong taste, with the alcohol very notable and in-your-face. Nicely balanced between sweet and bitter though. A bit more than average carbonation, medium body. Good beer, it would be even better if the alcohol was somewhat hidden and the florar or fruity taste more up front. Personal opinion.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear yellow a bit pale golden color, full sized fairly quickly diminishing white head. Smell malts, slightly citrussy and some yeast. Taste malts, lightly bitter, slightly sweet, some fruityness. Quite decent tripel imo. Medium body and carbonation.

Pours a cloudy straw-gold with a sizable, frothy, off-white head. Leaves about as much lacing as I’ve ever seen in a beer of this style. The yeasty-bready-fruity-grassy smell is paired with a yeasty-wheaty-fruity taste that is more sour than sweet. Both the aroma and the flavor have somewhat lower levels of banana and clove than those found in many Belgian blondes. Hints of coriander and lemon. Light-medium body, if a bit fuller than average for style. The carbonation is a bit aggressive. Overall: OK, but a step down in quality from their excellent Brune.

Aroma: Belgian candi sugar , floral hop notes with sweetnes around. Alcohol noted but not intrusive.
Look: fine haze on golden base with fairly large frothy top.3+
Taste: sweet but not overly. Good clean cut hops on top with heat behind. Belgian yeast notes finsihing with plesant blend of malts , hops and alcohol. Solid example.

At Bad Apple. OK but not great tripel. Not crisp and tart enough and the sweetness level didn’t quite work. The missus thought it was a bit one note. Serving: Tap
