Active white head. Rich clear golden yellow body. Smells of apples, wine and cheese. Sweet grape juice and maple syrup flavors are soft and smooth in the mouth. Tastes stronger than its listed 7%, but still very drinkable.

(Bottled) Hazy orange color with a medium, tight head and good lacing. A pleasant, fruity aroma of juniper (and other) berries, and a hint of sweet alcohol. Much more subtle, perfumy aroma with the yeast poured in. Fruity, malty flavor with toffee-sweetness and hints of juniper. Some bitterness in the background. Medium-bodied with a bit foamy, quite smooth carbonation. A straightforward, but reasonably enjoyable and refreshing, balanced juniper brew (I seem to like those in general). Not too sweet. Alcohol could feel less evident, but it seems to be a feature - not a bug - of this kind of beers.

Orange-ochre, clear beer with good and very dense & fine off-white head, very persistent. Nose with lots of candi sugar, spicy, some citrus & toasted. Alcohol is very obvious, more than the declared 7% would suggest. Toasted taste, dry mix of citrus, herbs and alcohol. I must confess the balance impresses me no end. FInish is even more dry, to the point of MF dustiness. It conveys the impression of genever, which is pretty curious, as only the berries, not the spirit are added. Dry, alcoholwarming. 7% in ABV, but strong ale in character. As said, impressive balance - one to try.

An interesting beer, as there is just enough of the juniper berries that you can notice something different about the beer but not sure it works that well.

Pours golden orange with minimal head. Aromas of light caramel malt with mild citrus and herbal undertones (from the juniper). Rather clean. Palate translates well, much like any other belgian tripel, light caramel malt and spicy phenols still present but toned down, with an added pine needle character, very fresh. Finishes clean with added dry yeast and hop notes. Interesting spin on a classic style!
